- Identify the affected area: app sign-in, provider connection, session, repository or an individual feature.
- Read the visible error and check the documentation for that area.
- If a feature is missing, compare your installed version with the available download for your platform.
How do multiple participants work together?
Claude + Codex shared chat starts through an explicit request or its Start action. Both senders appear in one timeline while remaining two sessions underneath. Together sends the message to the existing coordinating agent.
Teams adds a lead, workers, review and integration for multiple Git tasks. Collab shares a session with people. Independent parallel sessions are also available. Each guide explains the relevant setup and limits.
What is included and what needs access?
IXIOM provides the desktop workspace and its features. AI providers have their own accounts, limits and possible API billing. Hosted Image Studio credits and Voice Assistant API usage are separate routes.
When a session cannot start, inspect provider sign-in, CLI installation, selected backend and the displayed startup error. Signing in to IXIOM does not automatically sign you in to every AI provider.
Where are history and files stored?
Session histories, working copies and generated files have local storage locations. Some settings, presets and team profiles can follow your account. This does not mean all local repositories and image files are available on every device.
After restart, Claude and Codex's shared history remains, but collaboration is switched off. Inspect handoffs before enabling it again. The project journal additionally provides local history by environment, including sessions deleted later.
Why is a feature missing?
Downloads for different platforms can have different versions. Check the installed app version and the corresponding download. The updater displays available releases with notes and an action to install and restart.
Some features require a configured service, a particular provider, a local installation or an enabled switch. The relevant topic lists those requirements. A computer that is switched off does not continue running local routines or remote session tasks.
