Clear senders
Claude and Codex keep their own sessions. Their messages appear together with the corresponding provider icons. The participant bar shows who is working or ready.
Let Claude build the interface and Codex review the backend. Both can exchange tasks and answers while you follow their work in one conversation. You explicitly choose when the second agent joins.

Claude and Codex keep their own sessions. Their messages appear together with the corresponding provider icons. The participant bar shows who is working or ready.
Both agents can send each other tasks and questions and return answers. The handoff list shows pending tasks, waiting for an answer and completed handoffs.
Generated images appear as previews in the chat. Original file paths and the corresponding workspace travel with handoffs so the other agent can use those files.
With a repository attached, the second agent gets its own branch and worktree. The coordinating agent receives the workspace details, integrates committed changes and checks the combined result.
Claude and Codex each need configured access. Their available models, tools and limits still apply.
Open a Claude or Codex session and choose Start collaboration. You can also explicitly ask “Bring Codex in” or “Work together”. Questions, passing mentions and quotations do not start a second agent.
Choose Claude, Codex or Together. Together routes your message to the existing lead agent, which coordinates the work. The active bar shows when collaboration is running.
For example: “Claude, build the page. Let Codex create the hero image and give it the required dimensions.” Images and answers stay accessible in the shared conversation.
For parallel code work, explicitly request integration and tests on the combined state. Then review the report and the result in your project.
